Shell Town Arena – One Piece: East Blue Brawls (Roblox | Netflix / Buoy Studio)

 

I modeled, UV unwrapped, and textured Shell Town Arena for One Piece: East Blue Brawls, a premium Roblox experience created in collaboration with Buoy Studio and Netflix. This was the first arena players encountered—serving as the visual and mechanical introduction to the game’s wave-based combat. I built the entire level from the ground up, translating the iconic anime location into a performant, stylized Roblox environment optimized for all devices. I worked closely with design and gameplay teams to support scripted encounters, wave triggers, boss battles (including Captain Morgan), and traversal flows. Performance and polish were key. I ensured LODs, clean lightbakes, and streamlined geometry to maintain high frame rates without sacrificing visual fidelity. Shell Town was a critical touchpoint in onboarding new players and capturing the spirit of One Piece inside Roblox, and I’m proud to have played a major role in bringing it to life.
